Fallen is a four-part miniseries that aired on ABC in 2007, based on the popular young adult book series by author Thomas E. Sniegoski. The series follows a teenager named Aaron Corbett, who learns that he is the Nephilim, a human-angel hybrid with special powers, and that he is destined to save the world from the forces of darkness.
The series stars Paul Wesley as Aaron Corbett, alongside Rick Worthy, Hal Ozsan, and Fernanda Andrade. It was directed by Mikael Salomon and written by Sara B. Cooper.
Fallen received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising its visual effects and overall concept, while others criticized its uneven pacing and lack of character development. Despite this, it gained a dedicated fan base and has since become a cult classic.
The miniseries was followed by a TV movie sequel, Fallen: Angels and Demons, which aired on ABC Family in 2007. A second sequel, Fallen: The Destiny, was planned but never produced.
